Invaders!

 

Recently a large part of a nature trail by my house was fenced off with a caution sign warning about an invasive species. There was nothing inside it for a long time, turns out it was a cheeky bit of Impatiens glandulifera - Himalayan Balsam. In a matter of weeks it has spread itself like wildfire and will no doubt be happily starving some poor native plants.
