Narrative Project

 From a challenge to find 10 objects that told a story through juxtaposition, with the 5 photos following the same colour scheme. 

I chose my story to be a journey from dreams to nightmares. I chose calming objects one can associate with sleep and laid them in a carefree manner, as if the viewer can wander between them. This contrasted with the claustrophobia of the nightmare images being dark, mysterious, and confining, as if it is impossible to escape them.

I positioned the dream objects below the nightmare images as a representation of the order that the viewer might see the objects in if lying down, as well as sweet dreams often turning to ugly nightmares.
