Castlemeads concept sketching

 

I have developed a concept for Castlemeads which focuses on the spread of industrialisation and the art forms which sought to fight against that way of life.

This has transformed into a heavy inspiration from art nouveau. The idea behind my concept is to make people reflect on their nature and which type of person they want to be. Therefore, the industry side will be a separate layer of landscape to the art side, with functionality and aesthetics being used heavily in different metaphors.

These sketches are my initial ideas on the impression I want each layer to convey.
