Snowshill Manor

 We visited Snowshill Manor in the Cotswolds not long ago, and the gardens were absolutely stunning. There were topiary yews which created a really striking frame of the house from the bottom of the garden, and a vibrant range of perennials which still had great colour in autumn. It’s interesting to see how this very human-influenced planting can look so natural against the earthy colours and materials of the old buildings.
