Biophilic design

I've been reading more closely into biophilia, as the sense of longing for nature is something I want to promote heavily in my design for Alney Island. I'm hoping that this will create a much more friendly and appealing space if the design uses nature as a key feature successfully. I then realised that pretty much everything I design in life is based on nature, free flowing patterns, and earthy tones. This corner of my bedroom is surrounded by deep greens and floral/leafy patterns- it turns out I'm subconsciously putting nature everywhere. This area has such a calming and productive effect on me, now I know why!
